RIGHT ANGLE WEAVE PRIMER: 3 BEAUTIFUL BRACELETS, ONE TECHNIQUE

Beginners, 6 hours

Learn the basics of Right Angle Weave while creating a wardrobe of three styles of fun bangles -- Flat, Triangle and Cubic! Using CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements 4mm bicone crystals, students will first practice basic, flat Right Angle Weave and create a bangle complete with embellishments; then learn how to turn the flat bangle into a triangle bangle and then how to work from three sides into four to create a square bangle. Each of the three bracelets may be completed during class or at a later time.

For all levels of beaders, this bracelet is made in 3 parts, teaching students Right Angle Weave. Woven with sparkling CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements, these lovely bracelets may appear more delicate with the use of 3 mm bicone crystals or make a huge statement when using 4mm ones – either way it is simply sensational.

SIX CIRCLES AND A SQUARE BRACELET

This bracelet is a real sparkler and a fun challenge for students who are experienced with flat Right Angle Weave and want to learn dimensional Right Angle Weave. Using shimmering double AB crystals and perfect CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements pearls, you will learn how to form 3-dimensional circles and a 3-dimensional square that becomes a toggle clasp for the bracelet.

GLITTERY GLEAMING NETTED CUFF

Beginners, 3 hours

Create a beautiful bracelet or a dramatic dog collar incorporating flat 3-bead netting and CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements. Whether you make it bold or understated, this is a real sparkler, for any level of beader to make and enjoy. Within the body of a bracelet, combine 3mm bicone crystals with 3 mm crystal pearls or use only bicones and create patterns by placing colors in certain ways. Then, the edges of a bracelet may be filled in with crystal pearls or bicones.

SENSATIONAL SWAG STITCH BRACELET / NECKLACE / BROOCH

For bead-crocheters who have mastered the slip stitch technique and are comfortable with bead crochet, 6 hours

This project consists of 2 main parts: students will learn how to form a thick, luscious chain to use as a 7" bracelet or a 16" necklace and a floppy, flower focal piece for them, which may alternatively be used as a brooch with the addition of a pin-back. The project implements single bead crochet and teaches the "swag stitch" technique, the means of adding loops to single bead crochet in two specific ways.

LOVELY LOOPED FRINGE NECKLACE

For bead-crocheters who have mastered the slip stitch technique and are comfortable with bead crochet, 6 hours

This graduated raised spiral rope necklace has a front magnetic closure and graduated loops of embellishment crocheted into the rope. It is made with slip stitch crochet for the majority of the rope, with fringed loops added with single crochet. Students will perfect slip stitch crochet techniques and practice the single crochet stitch while learning to add loops.

RUFFLED BRACELET OR CHOKER

This bracelet may be either cuff-width or narrower, but either way, woven with CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements it's a real stunner while being easy to make. Methods for forming the ruffle on the base of the bracelet will be discussed as well as ways of adding and camouflaging a magnetic closure and safety chain. Some of the finer points of color theory for an ombre color palette of your choosing will also be discussed.

LACE CIRCLES BRACELET AND EARRINGS

Advanced beginners who are comfortable with flat RAW, 3 hours

Learn how to form circular elements using Right Angle Weave with CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements bicones and crystal pearls, along with gold seed beads. From there practice how to join the elements into a bracelet and into earrings. Discuss the finer points of color theory for an ombre color palette of your choosing.

PRINCESS COLLAR

For all beaders comfortable with flat RAW, 3 hours

Create a stunning necklace that will look great on you, go with everything in your wardrobe, is quick and easy to make and makes you feel like a princess when you wear it! Using CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements twist pearls and a selection of sparkling crystals, you will learn or perfect your skills with flat Right Angle Weave and learn how to substitute different CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements for different looks within the same style necklace.
