BEADelighted  Beadwork  Classes

eggy Sturman has been teaching beadwork and bead crochet classes for many years at various venues in the New York City metropolitan area. As you will see when you look at the class offerings below, Peggy has become expert in the Right Angle Weave technique after studying with David Chatt and in Bead Crochet techniques after studying with Lydia Borin.

Peggy Sturman maintains a design studio in New York where she designs and makes her distinctive jewelry for sale on M. Sturman.com. Peggy particularly loves to teach beading techniques, both off-loom stitches as well as her particular love, bead crochet. Since 2000, her work has been judged into several competitions, including Swarovski's "Create Your Own Style" competitions; Dairy Barn's 2006 and 2008 Bead International; Palos Verdes' Wearable Expressions; Wayne Art Center ArtForms; and Bead Dreams. Her work has been published in Bead & Button Magazine; Judith Giffin's Bead Crochet Pattern Designs; Diane Fitzgerald's The Beaded Garden; and Lark's Beading with Crystals.

Peggy is a member of SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS' prestigious CREATE YOUR STYLE Ambassador program and teaches classes during the annual CREATE YOUR STYLE in Tucson Show held the first week of February each year during the month-long Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show there. SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS will also sponsor four of her classes at the 2011 Bead & Button Show in Milwaukee, WI.

The classes listed here range from beginning ones to more advanced ones, something to meet the needs of every student. For the first time, Peggy has included class offerings for some of her M. STURMAN designs, too! Please browse through the following classes that Peggy teaches and contact her directly for more information and to book a class for your bead store or bead society.
